Job summary

Crystal Springs Inc. in Assonet, MA is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher for a full-time position. You will design and coordinate educational programs, covering academics, motor skills, language, behavior, social skills, and activities of daily living, with tailored IEPs for each student.

You will also supervise classroom assistants, foster an inclusive learning environment, and contribute to a supportive team focused on student growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Special Needs teaching license or DESE license-eligible waiver preferred.
• Severe Special Needs license is desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate educational programs covering academics, motor skills, language, behavior and social skills.
• Create Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
• Supervise and evaluate classroom teaching assistants and aides.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
