Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA is seeking a qualified teacher to serve students ages 6 through 21 who present with a range of behavioral and emotional disorders. Devereux can assist with licensure and supports a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am–4:00pm, in a school-based setting.

The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $55,000 to $64,780 annually, depending on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and licensure in Moderate Disabilities to be pursued
• Experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders or autism preferred
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach lessons in accordance with MA Curriculum framework and students' IEPs
• Provide supervision of teacher's aides in the classroom
• Work diligently to meet the needs of our students, both in the classroom, and by being a positive role model to others
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
