Job summary

Bradley County Schools is seeking a Bus Attendant (Special Needs) to support students on Special Education Buses, ensuring safe transport and adherence to confidentiality and safety procedures. Training will cover student confidentiality, bus loading/unloading, and emergency protocols under IEP considerations.

The role requires a willingness to help children; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. The position involves travel to district locations and field trip sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated willingness to assist children.
• High school diploma or GED required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transportation of students, staff, and others to and from school, residential neighborhoods, and field trips.
• Attend training on confidentiality and bus safety procedures including loading/unloading and wheelchair transport.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
