Job summary

OneCCPS in Virginia seeks a dedicated School Bus Attendant to supervise and ensure the safety of students during transport for a special education program. You will assist students boarding and exiting the bus using adaptive equipment and follow IEP-driven procedures to support individual needs.

This role requires calm behavior management, basic first aid including CPR, and the ability to complete weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of childhood growth and development and behavior management techniques.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures including CPR.
• Ability to maintain bus discipline and communicate calmly in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students on the bus and assist boarding/alighting using adaptive equipment.
• Enforce safety rules and manage student behavior with appropriate techniques.
• Provide basic first-aid as needed and complete weekly transportation reports.
