Qualifications

• Completion of 30 college semester units in nursing or health-related field may substitute for six months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical treatments and procedures necessary for pupils with exceptional needs.
• Assist a certificated administrator and medical staff in health care services.
• Maintain accurate daily written documentation of services performed on district forms.
• Provide positive communication with pupils and staff; support pupil privacy and dignity.
• Assist with routine clerical tasks as needed and learn to operate medical equipment safely.
