Kyrene School District is seeking an instructional assistant to support students with special needs. You will help implement behavior plans, attend team meetings, and collect data on interventions to support student progress.

The role is 20 hours per week for the 26/27 school year, with an hourly wage of $18.11 plus a $0.50 self-contained stipend, reflecting the district’s support salary schedule.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus one year experience in school or with children with special needs.
• Experience supervising children preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality of student, school, teacher and parent information.
• Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed.
• Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide classroom assistance/instruction for children with special needs.
• Implement behavior plans for students.
• Attend team meetings to problem solve.
• Collect data on interventions.
• Create and implement support for students with disabilities.
