Job summary

Compass Christian Church is seeking a Special Needs Coordinator for the North Fort Worth campus to coordinate inclusion efforts across Kids, Students, and Adults ministries. You will serve as the primary contact for families, conduct intake conversations, and help design care plans with the Central Special Needs Director.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a preference for a Bachelor's degree, and strong relational/multi-team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress.
• 1–3 years of practical experience with special needs.
• Strong relational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across ministries and age groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for special needs families across all age ministries at the campus.
• Conduct intake conversations with new families to understand needs and assist in creating care plans.
• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for kids and student environments.
• Coordinate sensory-friendly spaces or accommodations for weekend services and events.
• Partner with Kids and Students ministry leaders to ensure inclusive classroom environments.
• Support adult ministry leaders in identifying accommodations for adults with disabilities.
