The Children’s Guild in Baltimore is seeking a compassionate Classroom Aide to support students with autism and other special needs in a 1:1 setting. You will work with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals and monitor progress.

Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-4pm with comprehensive benefits, professional development, and a mission-driven culture committed to transforming young lives.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED (or higher).
• At least 1 year of experience with students with special needs or autism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one support to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Engage in family outreach and school-based activities.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Document student progress and behavioral observations.
