Job summary

The Children's Guild in Baltimore is seeking a compassionate Classroom Aide to provide one-on-one support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. You will engage families and participate in school activities to help students reach their IEP goals.

Ideal candidates have at least a year of experience with students who have special needs or autism, strong communication skills, and a patient, empathetic approach to learning.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; experience in special education is preferred.
  • Candidates should have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy and a passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
