Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with twenty semester hours or thirty quarter hours in accounting.
• Four years of accounting, auditing, investigative, management, or computer science experience.
• Certification as CPA can substitute for the required education and three years of experience.
• No special requirements beyond stated education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investigations by auditing financial and related records to detect policy or law violations.
• Prepare reports and investigative narratives as requested by the supervisor.
• Testify in court about the audits conducted.
• Review monthly reports for accuracy.
• Assist other law enforcement agencies with investigative matters.
