Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; four years law enforcement experience preferred.
• Texas peace officer certification required or by hire date.
• Must pass comprehensive background check and meet firearms proficiency.
• Ability to obtain Secret/Top-Secret clearance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develops investigative action plans for inspections, undercover operations and surveillance.
• Inspects licensed premises and investigates alcohol law violations.
• Gathers intelligence and evidence to determine violations and charges warranted.
• Collaborates with local and State LE CID divisions and with prosecutors.
• Prepares and executes search warrants; conducts arrests as needed.
