Location: North Salt Lake, UT

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for a Structural Steel Special Inspector in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. The successful candidate will be an experienced inspector knowledgeable about standards related to the construction and inspection of structural steel welding. Experience with structural steel bolting and welding inspection capabilities is preferred. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural plans and current code requirements. Field duties include shop and field inspection of structural steel welds, and potentially field bolting. Responsibilities include daily completion of field reports and clear communication with the client's representatives, general and subcontractors, and Ninyo & Moore's Project Manager.

Certifications: Current ICC Special Inspector Structural Steel and Welding certification REQUIRED.

Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, at least 1+ years of experience in the construction quality industry, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is necessary.
