The Special Funds Accountant is responsible for managing and monitoring daily financial operations related to special funds, revenue, deposits, electronic payments and other assigned financial activities. The position manage all daily bank deposits and electronic payment activity. Prepare AR billings for past-due customer accounts, process the monthly telecommunications bill and coordinate distribution to departments. Oversee the administration of special funds, block grants, federal cash, and indirect cost recovery. Reconcile internal financial records with Cardinal revenue and expenditure data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Provide timely and accurate financial information to management to support strategic resource allocation.
License as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience in indirect cost allocation methodologies.Prior experience in data input, accounting to include accounts receivable, and billing operations.
