Job summary

PLAYSTUDIOS is seeking a dynamic Special Events Manager to lead a growing portfolio of games and reward partner events. You will reimagine the Special Events Program with in-person events for Players, Employees, and Corporate partners, aligning with company goals and elevating player value.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, develop quarterly OKRs, manage budgets, and oversee end-to-end event execution, while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in event management.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing all aspects of events including internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Expertise in budget management and strategic planning.
• Passion for creating memorable experiences and driving community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Continuously reimagine and lead the Special Events Program, designing engaging events for Players, Employees, and Corporate partners.
• Develop quarterly OKRs and collaborate with other departments to align with annual objectives.
• Create, manage, and maintain event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with company goals.
• Partner with the VIP Host team to elevate and execute player-focused events.
• Act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders including VIP Hosts, reward partners, marketing, social media, and product teams.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning including design/theme, timelines, production, logistics, vendor management, approvals, and on-site execution.
• Monitor and evaluate event performance via NPS surveys to ensure continuous improvement and player value growth.
• Develop and oversee the myVIP Experience & Player Meet-up SWAG ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Collaborate with playAWARDS Marketing to lead the creation and approval of event collateral, including emails, signage, credentials, and more.
• Provide hands-on assistance for event setup and execution as needed to ensure seamless experiences.
• Ability to travel to all player events domestically and internationally with a valid passport.
