Job summary

Fox Restaurant Concepts is hiring a Special Events Manager to oversee private dining and event planning for multiple restaurant concepts. This role requires proactive outreach, lead management, and delivering exceptional service from inquiry through event execution.

The position emphasizes closing deals, managing event details with the service team, and building lasting guest relationships while achieving annual sales goals. Strong communication and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume events environment
• Restaurant or similar experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Catering/event software experience
• Able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
• Excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming leads via OpenTable, telephone, email and other channels; assist with managing event software
• Close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs
• Manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events
• Seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new business
• Build guest loyalty and book repeat business
• Communicate with the service team all event details; partner with GM and Executive Chef to ensure events are flawlessly executed
• Book small to large events and prioritise tasks efficiently
• Work on-site to build a solid team atmosphere
