The DC Army National Guard seeks a Special Electronic Devices Repairer to maintain and troubleshoot vital instruments and field equipment, including night vision gear and navigation devices. You will test, read diagrams, replace parts, and supervise other Soldiers as needed.

Training is paid and structured, with 10 weeks of Basic Training and 25 weeks Advanced Individual Training, leading to civilian career pathways with federal and state tuition support.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, solving problems, and electronic equipment repair.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn complex manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
• Read technical diagrams and manuals; replace parts.
• Ensure quality control and troubleshoot equipment.
• Advanced level technicians may supervise and train other Soldiers.
