DC Army National Guard is seeking a Special Electronic Devices Repairer to maintain and repair critical field equipment, including night vision devices and navigational instruments. You will test, replace parts, inspect, and ensure quality while potentially supervising less experienced Soldiers.

Training is designed to develop in-classroom and field skills over 10 weeks of Basic Training and 25 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with early-career benefits and opportunities for tuition

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet standards
• Enrollment in Army National Guard is required

Responsibilities

• Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
• Read technical diagrams and manuals.
• Replace parts and perform quality control.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment.
• Senior level may supervise and train other Soldiers
