Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Special Electronic Devices Repairer to maintain and repair vital instruments and tools, including night vision, navigational devices, and other battlefield equipment. The role involves testing, diagram reading, parts replacement, and quality control to ensure gear remains operational.

Advanced technicians may supervise and train other Soldiers. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 25 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with employment benefits

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, solving problems, and electronic equipment repair.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
• Read technical diagrams and manuals.
• Replace parts and ensure quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment.
• Advanced level Special Electronic Devices Repairers supervise and train other Soldiers.
