Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Special Electronic Devices Repairer to maintain and repair vital instruments and tools, including night vision and navigation devices. You will test instruments, read diagrams, replace parts, and ensure quality control, with opportunities to supervise others as you advance.

This role requires the completion of Basic Training (10 weeks) and Advanced Individual Training (25 weeks).

Qualifications

• Requires strong math and problem-solving aptitude.
• Demonstrates skill in repairing electronic equipment.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
• Read technical diagrams and manuals, replace parts, and perform troubleshooting.
• Ensure quality control measures and inspect equipment.
• Advanced level personnel may supervise and train other soldiers.
