Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator to work with students in home and community settings across Nassau County, NY. The role focuses on delivering individualized lessons aligned with IEP goals in the home and community environments.

Responsibilities include data collection, reporting progress, and ongoing collaboration with lead supervisors and school teams while maintaining accurate attendance and daily billing.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification SWD (1-6,5-9,7-12, all grades or Permanent).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in settings supporting children and families preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in home and community to deliver IEP-driven lessons.
• Develop multi-sensory lessons aligned with IEP goals.
• Collect data on IEP progress and report quarterly.
• Communicate with supervisors and school teams regularly.
• Maintain attendance and daily electronic billing.
