Family of Kidz in Eastern Suffolk, NY is seeking professionals to support Early Intervention and preschool programs. Responsibilities include delivering individualized lessons, tracking IFSP/IEP goals, and maintaining strong communication with a multidisciplinary team.

Flexible day, evening, and weekend opportunities are available. The organization emphasizes ongoing professional development and teamwork to support children and families.

Qualificações

• NYS Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2 Certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a setting supporting children and families preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Early Intervention or Preschool students implementing IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons aligned to IFSP/IEP goals and report progress.
• Collect data on IEP/IFSP goals and report quarterly progress.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and the multidisciplinary team.
• Submit attendance and electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to stay current in best practices.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.

Details about this opportunity

• Location: Eastern Suffolk, NY
• Status: Part- Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential
• Hours: Day, evening, and weekend opportunities available
• Early Intervention services operate 365 days a year and can be flexibly scheduled
• Preschool services will follow the school calendar
• Compensation:
• EI Compensation: $64-$75/ hour
• Preschool Compensation: $55-60/ Hour

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
