Job summary

The Stern Center in Burlington, VT seeks a full-time Special Educator to join its experienced instructional team. You will provide evidence-based, one-to-one instruction in reading, writing, and/or mathematics within a supportive nonprofit setting.

You will administer assessments, develop individualized goals, monitor student progress, and communicate collaboratively with families, schools, and educators to help students succeed.

Qualifications

• Special Education experience required; two years preferred
• Master’s degree preferred
• Vermont Special Education licensure or eligibility strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a student-centered approach

Full-Time | In-Person | $56,500 – $60,526 annually

The Stern Center, a nonprofit dedicated to learning for all, seeks a full-time Special Educator to join its experienced and collaborative instructional team. Each year, we serve more than 700 children and adults through customized instruction and psychoeducational evaluations, and we provide professional learning to over 1,500 educators.
