Job summary

Placer Learning Center in the Sacramento/Placer County area is seeking dedicated Special Education Instructional Assistants who support students academically, socially, and behaviorally with structured instruction and individualized guidance.

Full-time, 40 hours/week with benefits including fully paid medical insurance, 401(k) with company match, credentialing assistance, and paid vacation. Driving may be required to transport students to/from school or outings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience with special needs students in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of working with students with Autism is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA methodology is highly desired.
• Clean driving record; may transport students as needed.

Position Overview:

As a Special Education Instructional Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally. Responsibilities include assisting with academic materials, promoting appropriate social interactions, and helping to implement individualized behavior plans.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience working with special needs students in a classroom setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of working with students with Autism is preferred.
• Familiarity with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) methodology is highly desired
  
• Clean driving record (may be responsible for transporting students to/from school or outings).
