Responsibilities

• Collaborate with special education leadership to provide professional learning on transition topics.
• Coordinate worksites with businesses and provide or coordinate job coaching as needed.
• Assist students in obtaining employment-related skills and monitor progress toward postsecondary goals.
• Provide direct instruction in transition-specific classes (e.g., Education for Employment, Career and Transition).
• Conduct transition assessments and maintain data for state requirements.
• Attend IEP meetings and assist in developing transition plans as needed.
