Job summary

Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 seeks a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for its Transition program located at York Learning Center. The role focuses on promoting student development, self-sufficiency, and academic progress through hands-on support and collaboration with teachers.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and ongoing competency development, with benefits and a full-time schedule of 7 hours per day across 188 days per year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must have or obtain LIU-approved crisis management certification (preferred).
• Must obtain PA Dept. of Education competency within 1 year of hire.
• Must complete 20 hours of professional development annually.

Responsibilities
