Position Overview

The Special Education Therapy Assistant (Summer Position) offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience working one-on-one with children aged 2-3 with autism, under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher and Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA). You will also receive insights and training from clinicians specializing in Speech and Occupational Therapy. This role is ideal for students or professionals seeking practical summer experience in special education, ABA, Speech, or OT fields.

Duration

Immediate start through the end of August (flexible end date)

Compensation

• $16.50 per hour
• Potential for a rate increase based on performance
• Possible summer completion bonus

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Availability Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, throughout the summer
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and ensure child safety
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
