Summary

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Minimum of 90 credits of approved study required.
• License/Certifications: Certification as an Education Technician III from the Maine Department of Education (minimum of 90 credits in approved study) required or must obtain within 90 days of start date. Certification as School-Based Behavioral Health Professional preferred (may be provided upon hire).
• Experience: One year of experience working with children or youth with developmental disorders, mental health disorders, and/or challenging behavior in school, hospital, or residential setting preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: DOE fingerprinting.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide education and care to students’ ages 5-

The pay range for this position is $23.38to $31.63 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
