Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure required with 5+ years in SPED.
• Knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks, IDEA and SPED regulations.
• Experience with MTSS, behavior supports and dyslexia programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organization.
• Experience with multiple SPED service-delivery models.
• Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets.
• Such alternatives as acceptable to the Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates IEP meetings, reviews and observations per regulations.
• Supports curriculum/instruction and behavior plans for SPED.
• Acts as a liaison with principals, staff, families and parents.
• Analyzes student data to inform district planning and collaboration.
• Coordinates program planning and staffing considerations across buildings.
• Supports transition planning and inter-department collaboration.
• Assists with reporting requirements and DESE submissions.
