Job summary

Coweta Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional at Donald P. Sloat Junior High to support Special Education teachers and students. The position requires collaborating with teachers to meet individual student needs and to assist with instructional tasks in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional Certification is REQUIRED.
• Occasional bending/stooping/kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Employee must communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by addressing individual student needs.
• Support in-class tutoring and preparing classroom materials and reports.
• Assist with inventory and preparation of classroom materials.
• Serve on duty schedule as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Principal.
