Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Special Education Teacher to serve in a school setting in Greenwood, IN. This contract-full-time role includes 37 hours per week and an hourly pay of $45. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• Minimum one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Meets all federal, state, and local requirements.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students K-12.
• Collaborate with Special Education Program Administrator and general education staff.
• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs, including special instruction and tutorial assistance.
