Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services in Maine is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year across multiple districts and settings. You’ll deliver individualized instruction, develop and monitor IEPs, and collaborate with families and school teams to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (required).
• Valid Maine Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience in school-based special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
