Boothby Therapy Services is seeking Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year across Maine. We offer diverse caseloads, strong support, and a personalized placement process designed to match you with the right position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (required).
• Valid Maine Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
• Experience in school-based special education settings preferred.
• New graduates and experienced educators are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
