Princeton Staffing Solutions is actively hiring a compassionate Special Education Teacher for a Griffin, GA school district on a W2 contract. Local or travel assignments, 40 hours per week, with an emphasis on inclusive classrooms and meeting diverse learning needs.

You will assess student needs, develop IEPs, adapt instruction, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support growth. Ongoing professional development and strong advocacy for students are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education is required.
• Valid State Teaching License is required.
• Special Education Endorsement/Certification as required by state/district.
• Experience with IEP development and accommodations is important.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families is expected.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Adapt general education curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

• Provide targeted instruction in individual and small-group settings

• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals

• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families

• Guide classroom aides and paraprofessionals on appropriate student support

• Participate in IEP meetings, student reviews, and interdisciplinary collaboration

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians

• Stay current with best practices in special education through professional development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field (Required)

• Valid State Teaching License (Required)

• Special Education Endorsement/Certification as required by state or district

• Strong knowledge of IEP development, instructional planning, and classroom accommodations
