Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions in Frankfort, IN is actively seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher for a local public school district on a W2 contract, 37.5 hours per week, with local or travel assignments. You will support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom and help them reach their full potential.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, a valid state teaching license, and state endorsements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education.
Valid State Teaching License required.
Special Education Endorsement/Certification as required by state or district.
Strong knowledge of IEP development and instructional planning.

Responsibilities

Assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Adapt general education curriculum and teaching strategies.
Provide targeted instruction in individual and small-group settings.
Track and document student progress toward IEP goals.
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families.
Guide classroom aides and paraprofessionals on student support.
Particpate in IEP meetings, reviews, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
Stay current with best practices in special education through professional development.
