Job summary

The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) invites applications for a Special Education Teacher at the Department of Youth Services Mariposa Program in Dorchester, MA. This is a full-time, 185‑day contract for the 2026/2027 school year.

Licensed in Moderate Disabilities (5–12) or working toward certification, you will work with small classes (2–6 students) and a supportive team, focused on student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Massachusetts licensure in Mild-to- Moderate Disabilities 5–12 or working toward certification.
• Demonstrated commitment to social justice and equity for students.

Responsibilities

• Teach Special Education to high-risk youth with class sizes 2–6.
• Collaborate with behavior and clinical staff to support student growth.
• Provide trauma-informed, student-centered instruction.
