Job summary

Live Strong House in Utah is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a small, structured classroom. You will implement IEP and 504 accommodations, deliver instruction across curriculum, and collaborate closely with the Academic/Special Education Director to ensure progress and compliance.

The role involves working with up to 8 students, participating in IEP meetings, and promoting social-emotional growth in line with the Live Strong House model.

Qualifications

• Current teaching degree in Special Education (K–12) or Special Education endorsement.
• Minimum of 1 year of special education classroom experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ academic and behavioral needs.
• Implement IEP and 504 accommodations and modifications.
• Deliver instruction across curriculum in small groups and 1:1 sessions.
• Attend IEP meetings with out-of-district or out-of-state teams.
• Collaborate with clinical and residential teams to support student growth.
• Maintain classroom structure and student engagement.
