Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, provides in-district classrooms and standalone schools for K-12 students needing special and alternative education.

You will collaborate with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based learning methods and CASE PBIS framework, supporting diverse learners with smaller class sizes. You will develop individualized lesson plans, implement behavior interventions, and manage IEPs and related documentation to track

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role is required.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback is expected.
• Adaptability and flexibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and meet the needs of all students.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and, when necessary, physical restraint to ensure safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students, including during transitions within the school.
