Job summary

The Eagle school district is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Colorado. The candidate will provide instructional strategies and accommodations to students with special needs across settings, collaborating with regular education teachers and staff to implement IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado teaching license or eligibility for certification in Special Education.
• Endorsement and/or specialized courses in Special Education.
• Temporary Teacher Eligibility in area of assignment (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Teaches approved curriculum and life skills to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborates with staff to develop accommodations and modifications for curriculum.
• Assists in development of IEPs and related services planning.
• Maintains accurate student records and confidentiality.
• Communicates with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.
• Maintains professional growth aligned with district expectations.

Education

Colorado Teaching License (State of Colorado)
