Job summary

KIPP Colorado Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead a student caseload and drive strong academic growth. You will plan instruction, implement IEP accommodations, and maintain compliant documentation for MTSS and related programs.

This 10-month exempt role emphasizes inclusive, culturally responsive practices and collaboration with a school leadership team. A signing bonus is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Special Education License or TEE through CDE required.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ability to meet ESSA guidelines.
• At least 2 years teaching experience preferred.
• Availability for after-hours meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards-based unit and daily lesson plans.
• Design rigorous, backwards-planned lessons.
• Plan assessments aligned with objectives and provide feedback.
• Maintain records and data tracking for students.
• Engage families through home visits and meetings.
