Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education required; Master’s preferred.
• 3-5 years of special education teaching experience required.
• Pennsylvania certification in Special Education required.
• Pennsylvania Principal/Admin cert preferred.
• Experience with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support delivery of specialized instructional and behavioral services to students.
• Coordinate coverage needs with the building principal.
• Assist teachers, counselors, behavior interventionists and administrators in implementing IEPs and accommodations.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment with direct student assistance and progress monitoring.
• Provide direct staff observations, instructional coaching and supervision.
