Responsibilities

• Provide direct or specially designed instruction aligned with the district curriculum and IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to develop academic and behavioral programs
• Participate in regular faculty duties and professional development on IDEA and related policies
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff; support students with disabilities in standard classrooms
• Plan and assess instructional objectives, select resources, and monitor student progress
• Organize content and instructional sequences based on AKS and standards
• Apply evidence-based instructional strategies and incorporate technology to enhance learning
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure due process compliance
