Job summary

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License.
Current K-12 Special Education certificate required.
IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card mandatory.
Experience in self-contained behavior or autism support classrooms preferred.
Understanding and responsiveness to the needs of at-risk, ethnically diverse, LEP, and exceptional students.
Proven background in developing and implementing special services activities in line with guidelines.
Completion of E.E.E.I. training or willingness to participate in staff development.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality instruction and structured support to students in a self-contained environment.
Foster growth in prosocial behavior and self-regulation.
Collaborate with faculty, therapists, and families to create and implement IEPs.
Prepare and maintain special education documentation and assessments in compliance with regulatory standards.
Utilize evidence-based strategies to meet students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
