Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher - Secondary Emotional Support at Lenape Middle School for a long-term substitute period. POSITION: Special Education Teacher - Secondary Emotional Support

Long Term Substitute

LOCATION: Lenape Middle School

AVAILABLE: October 19, 2026 to June 11, 2027 (dates are approx.)

COMPENSATION: Salary according to CBEA Agreement

DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes. Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards. Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education 7-12 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required).
