Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Resource) in Phoenix, AZ to lead a classroom serving students with diverse needs. You will develop and implement IEPs, PBIS behavior plans, and collaborate with families and staff to support academic and social growth.

Required AZ SPED certificate and Bachelor's degree; IVP clearance is required. The role includes supervising paraprofessionals, attending IEP meetings, and supporting assistive technology use.

Qualifications

  • Arizona SPED teaching certificate required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
  • Experience with IEPs and PBIS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop lesson plans aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
  • Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual needs.
  • Implement and manage PBIS and behavior tracking.
  • Supervise and direct paraprofessionals in the classroom.
  • Attend IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
  • Collaborate with families, related service providers and staff.
