Job summary

The Judge Rotenberg Center in Canton, Massachusetts seeks a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, exempt position. The role involves academic planning, delivering individualized and group instruction, and assisting with daily living skills and personal care to students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Massachusetts teaching license in appropriate area (Moderate/PreK-9 or Severe Special Needs).
• Ability to work a demanding teaching schedule.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan academic instruction for students (individual and group).
• Deliver individualized and group instruction.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care instruction.
• Report to the Special Education Director or designee.
• Work full-time in a salaried, exempt position with variable hours based on licensure status. ten weeks vacation included.
