Job summary

Riverview School in Massachusetts is seeking a Full Time, Exempt - 10 Months Special Education teacher to provide instruction across subject areas and support students with diverse needs.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, apply data-driven instruction, and integrate technology to foster meaningful learning experiences across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license in Special Education/Moderate Disabilities (grades 5-12) or eligibility for a waiver.
• Related experience, independent school setting preferred.
• Strong ability to incorporate technology into instruction.
• Exceptional written, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
• Background check results (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting required.
• Current/valid driver's license.
• CPR/AED/Standard First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

• Related experience (experience in an independent school environment preferred)
• Strong ability to incorporate technology into instruction
• Exceptional written, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
