Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract in Maricopa, Arizona. You will provide specialized instruction and develop IEPs for preschool-age students during the 2026–2027 school year.

The role offers 40 hours per week, 41 weeks of commitment, a competitive hourly pay rate of $50.00 to $51.00, comprehensive benefits, and weekly pay with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Credential and Early Childhood Special Education Certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience supporting students with behavioral needs and knowledge of data assessment practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to preschool-aged students with developmental and educational needs.
• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities and individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress through data collection and assessments, adjusting instruction.
• Support positive classroom behaviors and collaborate with families and related service providers to promote student success.
