Qualifications

• Current certification in Special Education for the required age group.

• Full certification required (no pending or temporary certificates).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral support to meet IEP goals.
• Develop strategies for positive reinforcement and behavior management.
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly report on student development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to align support plans.
• Lead or participate in case management duties as preferred and needed.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
