Special Education Teacher – Northfield Campus

• Hyde Park Day School is the premier school for bright students with learning disabilities in the Chicago metropolitan area.
• Teachers engage students in 5:1 student to teacher groupings.
• Students admitted are bright with learning disabilities and are screened for behavioral and emotional concerns.
• Hyde Park Day School partners with Wilson Language Training and provides certification and professional development for staff.

About Hyde Park Day School

Hyde Park Day School offers a full‑day program for students ages 6 to 15 with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Campuses are located throughout the Chicago area, including Hyde Park/Woodlawn, Northfield, and Lemont.

Our program focuses on the remediation of fundamental skills, the development of strategies to compensate for learning challenges, and the use of appropriate accommodations. We maintain a low student‑to‑teacher ratio, a state‑of‑the‑art technology program, integrated services, and a safe, nurturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $45,000 to $72,000 per year depending on experience.
