Make a positive impact in the lives of middle school students as a Special Education Teacher in the Highland Park, IL area. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work closely with 6th to 8th graders who benefit from targeted learning and social-emotional support. Your expertise will provide vital assistance to students with diverse learning profiles and help set them on a path for success.

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS) credentials
• Experience supporting middle school students (grades 6-8) with learning differences and/or social-emotional needs
• Passion for adapting curriculum to meet individual individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with families, staff, and related service professionals
• Commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

Your Key Responsibilities:
